OBJECT PORTRAITS

Our relationship with the objects that fill our homes and the places we work is a portrait of our life journey. There are objects that we imbue with meaning; others that are part of our memories; others that we love for their functionality or their beauty; and still others that rattle about without purpose or meaning but that we find it difficult to dispose of, for reasons that we can’t explain. But the role that these objects play in our lives says something very real about where we’ve been, what we aspire to, and what we choose to see or not to see.
